At CentriGrowth, we offer language and cultural training, coaching, and mentoring, integrating cutting-edge concepts from education, psychology, and management. About Myself

Founder of CentriGrowth, teacher, coach and mentor

Since moving from Shanghai to the United States in 2012, I have spent more than a decade growing alongside my two children as a new immigrant family. These shared experiences have given me deep, practical insight into cross‑cultural adaptation, family education, and the unique challenges overseas families face in language, culture, and identity.

As a Washington State–certified elementary teacher and secondary Chinese teacher, I have long been devoted to language‑and‑culture education and cross‑cultural communication. Through years of frontline teaching, I have continuously explored learning pathways that truly support overseas Chinese students, developing innovative approaches that have been well received. Over the past five years, I have presented at CLTA‑WA, WAFLT, PNCFL, and other professional platforms, engaging in meaningful exchanges with educators worldwide. I have been honored with the National K–12 Chinese Cultural Activity Design Award and the WAFLT Teaching Innovation Award, and I introduced Co‑Active coaching principles into Chinese language classrooms in Seattle—integrating language learning with whole‑person growth.

For more than a decade, I have also served local immigrant and language‑education communities as a volunteer, contributing to the CLTA‑WA Board, the ELLA Committee, and leading the long‑term cross‑cultural learning program for the EmP Parent Association.

In my coaching profession, I completed the full CTI training pathway and earned the ICF‑recognized CPCC (Certified Professional Co‑Active Coach) credential in 2025. As of mid‑2026, I have accumulated over 355 hours of professional training and 270+ hours of one‑on‑one and family coaching practice, while continuing advanced studies in relationship and systems coaching.

I am passionate about learning, personal growth, and supporting others. I read extensively in education, communication, relationships, and self‑development, and actively practice positive discipline, emotion coaching, mindfulness, and Positive Intelligence. I am committed to promoting whole‑person education and the pursuit of well‑being.

I believe every person deserves to be seen, supported, and empowered. With my professional background and lived experience, I hope to accompany and uplift more individuals and families—helping each person move closer to the version of themselves they aspire to become.
